RTK's Joke - Part 2

For the first 2 years, I was the worst salesperson at my company.
I couldn't even sell a lifebuoy to a drowning man.

Most people punish themselves harder than others would for their mistakes.
They should report themselves to the police for self-torturing.

Just to Share TT

Dear Friends,

Almost killed myself twice today.
Sleeping while driving and jumping out from a roll-back flat buggy.
Thanks God I'm still alive.

Just a little more..
Nasty traffic jams, car tasted marmalade if you double translate it to French.
Glued myself with metal adhesive while trying to fix my watch.

Ahh.. what a weird day..
Hmm, I'll have fried noodle my mom made for me for dinner.
Hmmmm... Del-i-cious...

Hopefully, things will be better afterward.
I'm crossing my fingers... :)

Traffic Lights - Slow Down or Accel?

Dear friends,

You all must have been very familiar with traffic lights, right?
It's the thing that have 3 lights (red, yellow and green) usually found in the street intersections.
Each light has it own meaning.

Red - Stop
Yellow - Slow down
Green - Go

However, now days, the meaning has slightly changes.

Red - Pass while you can
Yellow - Go faster before it turns red
Green - Never changes, still go :)

We'll, it's true that something that never change... is the changes it self...

Wow, which one to look at @@

Liability VS Asset

Dear friends,

According to Robert T Kiyosaki (the author of Rich Dad's books), one way to get rich is to turn your liability into an asset.
Liability is something that take your money.
Asset is something that get you money.
A very simple and yet still mistakenly accepted concept by most people.

For example, your hand phone.
It's a liability because you need to top it up to make phone calls.
I was able to turn it into asset by registering it as balance engine that able to top up other hand phone.
But I don't make to much money from it because I'm doing it to help other people.
It's in an alignment with the principle of a good business.
To serve others.

We'll what's next? :)

Another Connectivity Issue

Dear friends,

I was having this low signal from my wireless device while posting this article.
So I tried a few things to get it right.
I connect and disconnect the connections (just for pun).
I reset the program.
I plug and unplug the device.
And tried another few unrealistic thing, like kissing it or blow it with my breath. LOL.

But nothing worked.

I calm myself down by drinking a glass of water.
And while it's half empty, I put it next to the device.
Viola! I've got two bars of extra signal :)
I tried and tested it a few times with 80 % of success rate.

Some rocket science??? Nah! ^^

Just don't try this at home :) LOL.

No Parking

Dear friends,

Today I took my Father for a medical checkup at the hospital.
When we arrived there, there was no parking slot available.
I dropped him by the entrance and start looking for a space at the other side of the hospital.
But, till the road ends, there was none of it.

I told the parking girl, that I ain't get a space and she told me to take another round.
So I did and I failed again and when I see her again, she give me a wink and give me a sign to take another round...
So I did and I failed again and when I see her again, I said hi and she replied with a smile, another round...
So I did and I failed again and when I see her again, I shroud my shoulder and she did the same, another round...
So I did and I failed again and when I see her again, I said, another round and you'll give me a free plate for this.. no more round...
I'm sweating... What a way to spend my morning...

I decided to wait at the library and read a book.
It's so comfortable and cool here, not to mention the pretty chicks ^^
Should do it in the first place :)

Purifying Rituals

Dear Friends,

Last Sunday, my family and I went to a deserted beach at Sanur area, eastern side of the city.
It was a cold early evening with clouds and strong wind.
The scenery was almost monochrome with no sign of lights.
The road was heavily damaged with forsaken buildings along its sides.
Perhaps the remains of the tsunami.
Just like a typical scene of survival horror games, Fatal Frame, Resident Evil... you got the idea...

At the end of the road, there was a small house and a complex of temples, which amazingly clean and well maintained.
The place give us a warm atmosphere despite the cold weather.
It feels like coming home from a thousands years of journey.

A mid aged man greet and welcomed us warmly.
He was having a serious kidney problem and was magically healed when he tried to drown himself at this beach.
Then he devoted himself to this beach, saying good bye to his wife, children, family, neighbor and the rest of the world.
He sleeps on the sand regardless it's hot or raining.
He looks so calm and free.

After some introduction, we place the offering at the temples and begin the purifying ritual.
He bathed us with a mixture of coconut water, river and sea water.
Then we walked into a place where the river meets the sea.
The river itself is the end flow of the nine rivers that flow through out the Bali island.
We dip ourselves there for sometime and felt cleaned and refreshed.
All the burden seemed to washed away by the river's flow.

Once we're ready, we prayed at the temple.
The temple was build at the edge of a pier.
If you look at it with hazed eyes, it seemed like a gate that connected heaven and earth.
There was also lots of figurine of gods and demons, as well as deities from other religion such as Buddha and the Goddess Kwan-Im.

Once we finished, we said goodbye and thank you to the elderly man.
We felt like staying there forever but life calls.
We'll go there again on the next full moon.
Until then, peace and farewell....
