Stacking Boxes - The New Concept

Dear friends,

I attended the JSA (Job Safety Analysis) training conducted by the company recently.
It was about doing the job safely and it had one concept that caught my attention.
(I was about to sleep it away ^^)

It was the concept of stacking boxes.
Let's say that you have 3 boxes to stack; Light, Medium and Heavy box.
How would you stack them?

Is it like this?
  • Light
  • Medium
  • Heavy
Light on top, Medium in the middle and Heavy on the bottom?

Well, if that's is your answer, you have the same concept as mine (was)

The correct and safe way to stack is actually like this:
  • Light
  • Heavy
  • Medium
Light on top, Heavy in the middle and Medium on the bottom

Reason is, it's easier to lift the heavy box if it's in the middle. Got the idea? ^^

I could hear you "aha!" ^^

I hope this post can help you to stack boxes safely.
Don't stack to high though ^^

Have a nice (stacking) day ^^
